Friday evening was such a great evening for storms in Spring Arbor. A stationary intense severe thunderstorm was developing about 2-3 miles to my N and this huge inflow tail cloud fed into it. Nearest description I have is a stinger inflow cloud. This is looking south. The area that looks like its right above my house had rotation as the west edge was looping back around.. Also noted a major humidity surge at this time as well

After the severe storms on 8/14/15 I was treated to one of the most amazing Mammatus displays I have ever seen in Michigan! The sky was just full of them. As the sun began to dip low in the western sky, it illuminated these beauties as the storms moved SSE away from me. I shot this in Greenville, MI. Awesome chase day!

-this was from July 18, 2012 near Wadena Canada. An hour prior this supercell produced a tornado over a canola field. It was a fun day with little to no damage or injuries from this cell. Nikon D3x, 16mm, ISO 200, f/5, 1/500.
