We targeted the SE CO and Panhandles region today. Caught this stunning supercell north of Felt, Oklahoma, which we tracked from west of Boise City, OK, to Stratford, TX, before letting it move away.

This week was a proud week for me as my oldest two children finally have the storm chasing bug…Here under the beast storm from two days ago as a massive HP storm pushed from eastern CO into KS (pictured here).

Eastern Manitoba, CANADA, was treated with a sweet Northern Lights display that will be very hard to surpass! Taken May 28 at 2:24 am–midway through the strongest part of the storm which lasted several hours. Sadly, many people to the south rarely experience this amazing phenomenon. It seems, however, there must have been one heck of a geomagnetic storm to push the Aurora band to lower latitudes last night … even Arizona I hear! Did anyone further south than that get to see the Lights?
