“Wave In The Sky”. The severe thunderstorm near Graham, Texas yesterday (4-18-15) created a “Breaking Wave” shape as it started to intensify. I still can’t get over the magnificent variation of blues it was displaying.

Who says you need a bad ass storm to get a bad ass shelf cloud? Not me. This storm was nothing more than a small non severe late afternoon popup. But she sure was a pretty lil thing.

Hectic day today chasing in south central Kansas and northern Oklahoma….intercepted a number of strong storms, by far though this was the best one…This supercell approaching Caldwell, KS produced long term rotation, funnels and large hail.. 18th April, 2015

“The Rainbow Run” On 4/17/15 after catching the tail end of a tornado near Edson, KSMax Olson and myself stopped at Brewster, KS to take video and photos but after a large hail core headed our way we booked it back west. While driving I looked back to see this brilliant rainbow and shelf cloud being lit up by the late afternoon sun and just had to grab a few shots!

December 2012 in Mount Isa. This is in the desert region of Northwest Australia. Some of the best lightning in the country occurs during storm season around this area!

4.9.2015 NW Illinois – low grade quality photo, sorry. The turquoise/green with that golden crop in the foreground is a scene I’ve always wanted to shoot!

Amazing structure yesterday!

Anti-crepuscular rays with rainbow and faint double rainbow from yesterday’s storm chase near Hobart and Gotebo, OK. This is looking into a severe storm that produced very large hail in this area.

Not fancy, but wanted to share this neat pic. This was 4-18-15 near Clinton, Ok, looking East toward the storm. Love the bonus of the rainbow with the crosses.
